Animal Adventure Author, Rachel Nardin, AKA Nugget, will be on site at Saratoga Paint and Sip for the release of her first children’s book. “Raccoons Go Rafting” is an adventurous tail of mischievous rafting raccoons enjoying a summer trip down the Hudson River.  Filled with fun and fur, you’re bound to have a blast as you bump and jump with these raccoons.  So gear up and dive into the colorful illustrations and playful rhymes inside these pages.

There will be a book reading, an opportunity to purchase and have the booked signed by Rachel, and a kid friendly painting class featuring Nugget the Raccoon.

As a Hudson River raft guide, Rachel fell in love with the River and the Adirondack Park.  Rachel has always loved animals and this tail is the perfect mix of fur and water!  Inspired by the many trips with Rachel’s fellow guides, these raccoons are bound to have fur-tastic fun as these playful adventurers raft and meet new furry friends along the way.
